On January 3, 2006, the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Preparedness Directorate published the draft guidance, "Protective Action Guides for Radiological Dispersal Device (RDD) and Improvised Nuclear Device (IND) Incidents" in the Federal Register (Vol. 71, No.1) for interim use with request for comment. Information concerning how and where the public and interested stakeholders can submit comments on this document is contained within the Federal Register Notice.
